Proof that a compact footprint is no barrier to great design. This recently completed shower room shows what's possible when clever space planning meets quality fittings - a polished, hotel-inspired finish, fully fitted for £12,994.

The challenge was a familiar one: a modest-sized room that needed to work hard and feel generous. Our answer was to design upwards and outwards, keeping the floor clear and letting light and texture do the rest.

Making a small room live large

In a compact shower room, floor space is precious - so we lifted everything off it. A wall-hung basin and vanity unit, paired with a wall-hung toilet, create an open, uncluttered feel that makes the whole room appear bigger than its measurements suggest. There's a practical pay-off too: nothing touching the floor means nothing to clean around.

The rich wood-grain vanity brings warmth and useful storage, sitting beautifully against the textured tiling. With our furniture collections offered in multiple sizes and over 20 colourways, there's a combination to suit every room and every taste.

A walk-in shower that makes a statement

Instead of a conventional enclosure, the full width of the room was given over to a walk-in shower, a simple change that transforms the everyday routine into something far more indulgent. A single pane of glass with a slim black profile keeps the view open from wall to wall.

Throughout the room, spend was directed where it counts:

  • Quality taps and shower fittings engineered for everyday use, year after year

  • Matte black brassware - bang on trend - carried through the tap, shower rail, flush plate and accessories

  • Wall-hung sanitaryware to free up the floor

  • Hardwearing tiling, floor to ceiling, chosen for minimal upkeep

The finishing touches

A neutral palette of soft stone-effect tiles is lifted by a striking terrazzo-style feature wall, framed in black trim to tie the scheme together. An LED backlit mirror, matte black towel radiator, and coordinated black accessories complete the look - contemporary, cohesive, and designed to stand the test of time.

The result is a shower room that feels far beyond its price point - combining smart space planning, quality fittings, and on-trend finishes without compromise.

The installation of the shower room was fully project managed in-house, with all trades coordinated and scheduled on the client's behalf ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience from design to completion.
